I grew up just around the corner from Gracemount in a family who loved Jesus and loved  sharing Him with others. From a young age, I knew I needed to put my trust in Jesus, but I was pretty nervous and embarrassed about sharing that with other people. At 16, the sudden loss of a close friend was a turning point for me. I realised I had spent too much of my life hiding what I believed, and I knew I had to make a choice: walk away, or wholeheartedly follow Jesus and live unashamed of the gospel. I chose the latter, and Romans 1:16 has been a guiding truth for me ever since.

God has given me a passion for sharing Jesus with children and young people. I’m especially drawn to the promise in Ezekiel of God transforming hearts of stone into hearts of flesh — a promise I long to see fulfilled in the lives of people in our community. It has been a real privilege to witness the ways God has been at work in Gracemount over the years. 

Since 2012, I’ve been married to Andy, and together we have two energetic boys, Reuben and Kenan, who keep life full of fun and adventure. Outside of GCC stuff, I enjoy basketball, waffle nights, and soaking up the sunshine whenever it appears!
