“Here’s a trustworthy saying that’s transformed my life: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15)

I grew up in a family in Edinburgh that loved Jesus and taught me the Bible. But when my auntie died of cancer when I was in my mid-teens I realised that although I’d heard loads about Jesus, because I personally wasn’t putting it into practice my life was on a shaky foundation. That’s when I put my faith in Jesus and began to find him to be a solid foundation for all of life’s storms (Matthew 7:24-27).

In 2012 I married Sarah, who’d been doing youth work in Gracemount with Switch. In 2013 I moved into Gracemount for the first time and began to love the community, and it’s now become the only place I can imagine calling ‘home.’

Sarah and I now have two boys, Reuben and Kenan, and as a family we love walking our dog round the Braids, playing Uno, and watching Dude Perfect.
